Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support across various human resources functions, contributing to the smooth operation of HR processes and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and coordination of interviews.
  • Support new employee onboarding by preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and ensuring a seamless integration into the company.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Handle basic HR inquiries from employees and escalate more complex issues to senior HR professionals when necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members on HR projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies, staying informed about changes in employment legislation.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and support for employee well-being.
  • Reviewing employee timesheets for completion and accuracy
  • Coordinate and deliver basic training sessions for employees, including onboarding and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2- 3 years of experience in Human Resources, either as a Generalist or in a similarly situated role.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Recruiting, Technical Recruiting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR internship or related work experience.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
